Lesson Summary:
In this lesson, students read The Three Billy Goats Gruff and apply engineering concepts by designing and constructing a bridge to help the goats cross safely. Students build their bridges using various materials and test how many cubes their bridge can support before it collapses. After testing, they analyze their designs, make improvements, and retest to enhance the bridge's strength. This hands-on activity promotes creativity, problem-solving, and the application of STEM principles in an engaging, story-based context.
